Title: Developer (AWS Focus) Location: Newark, NJ - HYBRID Duration: 12 months Role Overview Join our Platform Enablement team to design, build, and optimize cloud-based data feed solutions leveraging AWS services. This role focuses on enabling feature teams to generate operational feeds through a low-code/no-code approach, ensuring scalability, reliability, and compliance with SLAs. Key Responsibilities * Design & Development o Develop, test, and deploy AWS-based components for data pipelines using Lambda, S3, EventBridge, ECS Fargate and related services. o Implement parameter-driven feed generation logic and integrate with multiple data domains (e.g., Contract, Customer). o Build and maintain PostgreSQL-based CFGenDB schemas for transformed domain data. * Data Integration & Transformation o Configure and manage data extraction from on-prem and cloud databases. o Apply transformation rules via configuration files and ensure accurate feed creation for downstream systems. * Automation & Deployment o Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins) for automated deployments. o Ensure deployments adhere to security and compliance standards. * Monitoring & Troubleshooting o Monitor feed generation processes, Lambda executions, and ECS tasks. o Diagnose and resolve issues related to data validation, file tagging, and access permissions. * Collaboration & Documentation o Partner with feature teams, DBAs, and platform engineers to validate deployments and resolve defects. o Document deployment steps, configuration standards, and operational runbooks. o Communicate status updates and risks to stakeholders. Required Skills & Experience * Strong proficiency in AWS services (Lambda, S3, EventBridge, ECS Fargate). * Experience with PostgreSQL and SQL for data modeling and transformation. * Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Bitbucket) and Infrastructure-as-Code concepts. * Knowledge of data pipeline orchestration and event-driven architectures. * Hands-on experience with Python or Java for AWS development. * Understanding of security best practices in cloud environments.
