As a Security Officer Medical Campus Patrol in Fishersville, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine rounds, remain highly visible, and help to discourage security-related incidents while supporting patients, visitors, and staff with professional customer service. You will document observations, respond to requests, and communicate clearly with your team using site technology. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical facility disturbances, unauthorized access concerns, and/or property-related issues.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, directing individuals to appropriate departments and/or waiting areas per site procedures.
• Complete security-related reports and logs, communicate observations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision, and follow post orders and chain of command.

Minimum Requirements:

• Client requires proof of high school diploma and/or GED.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
