Position Summary

The Assistant Marketing Manager will provide work-related support to the Director of Marketing & Partnerships in planning, organizing and managing all files, public relations, collateral, projects and special event activities. The Assistant Marketing Manager will provide creative direction for all Kroc branded programs and brand strategies.

Essential Functions



  • Manages a team of Creatives that are responsible for Kroc brand guidelines, website, digital assets, social media, environmental graphics, video, and on-site branding.
  • Assist Director of Marketing & Partnerships plan, develop, and implement a marketing plan for each program at RJKCCC.
  • Working in cooperation with program directors and managers to keep an accurate calendar of all regularly scheduled and special events held at the RJKCCC.
  • Develops current design themes, new campaigns and design strategies for the Kroc brand.
  • Assess market position and trends, devise advertising strategy, and presents to senior management.
  • Manages Kroc Marketing Creative production calendar.
  • Guide social media content creation and direction.
  • Reviews all production materials on key projects. Assists in forwarding and collecting approval on printed materials from key RJKCCC staff.
  • Responsible for website and mobile design, including developing new digital experiences.
  • Generate and forward print project specifics to printers and mail house for bids. Collect information and assist in determining the best vendor to complete specific projects. Coordinate the delivery and pick-up of creative and collection of printing samples.
  • Maintain and archive all computer files utilized by the RJKCCC Marketing Department.
  • Maintain the video library and photography files for the RJKCCC Marketing Department, including a list of contents.
  • Assist in securing and maintaining video/photo release forms.
  • Carry out the decision and instructions given by your supervisor, and in accordance with Salvation Army Policies and Procedures.
  • Maintain an up-to-date Salvation Army Disposition of Forces, Media Finder Binder and any other resource material for the RJKCCC Marketing Department.
  • Maintain an inventory of all equipment and supplies assigned to the RJKCCC Marketing Department.
  • Perform other assignments/duties as directed.


Working Conditions

Ability to walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel and twist on an intermittent or sometimes continuous basis. Ability to be able to lift up to 10lbs. Ability to grasp, push, pull objects such as files, file cabinets drawers and reach overhead. Ability to operate computer, fax and telephone.

PAY RATE: $70,304-$72,800.00/yr.

Minimum Qualifications



  • Have five (5) years' experience and ability to be a self-starter, and work independently with little supervision for the Director of Marketing & Partnerships.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud based programs, including Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Express, and Acrobat Pro.

  • Have good English, spelling and communication skills.

  • Be able to work with all ethnic and socio-economic populations
  • Ability to supervise other individuals
  • Ability to communicate effectively and accurately.
  • High school graduate required, college graduate, preferred.
  • Abide by Salvation Army Policies and Procedures and experience in Salvation Army programs, preferred.

Qualifications
