Primary Function of Organizational Unit
The East Carolina University School of Music is one of the premier music schools in the Southeast with recognized and comprehensive music programs. The predominantly online MM in Music Education degree recently was commended by the National Association of Schools of Music.

The ECU Piano Academy delivers high-quality, affordable piano instruction to pre-collegiate students and interested adults in the Greenville community. Our piano academy offers students a structured learning experience that nurtures well-rounded musicianship. Through dedicated piano study, we work to build a strong musical foundation, empowering students to become independent musicians capable of lifelong learning and engagement with music.
Job Duties
ECU School of Music is currently seeking Instructors for the ECU Piano Academy, with instruction set to commence in January 2026. Instructors will teach weekly piano lessons to precollegiate and adult students from the Greenville community.
Minimum Education/Experience
High School Diploma and musical proficiency in piano.
License or Certification Required by Statute or Regulation
