Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Data Platform Architect to support a large-scale enterprise data modernization initiative within a manufacturing environment. This role will play a critical part in an ERP migration from a homegrown legacy platform to MS Dynamics 365, serving as both a strategic leader and hands-on technical expert.

The ideal candidate will design, optimize, and evolve a scalable, secure, and high-performing enterprise data platform, translating complex business requirements into robust data solutions that support analytics, reporting, and enterprise decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and evolve enterprise-grade data architecture supporting analytics, reporting, and operational use cases
• Lead optimization and performance tuning efforts within Snowflake environments
• Architect and govern DBT projects at scale, including testing, modular design, documentation, and deployment standards
• Define and drive the technical roadmap for the enterprise data platform aligned with ERP modernization initiatives
• Enable advanced data capabilities including real-time data processing, master data management (MDM), and AI/ML readiness
• Collaborate with data engineers, BI teams, IT partners, and business stakeholders to ensure cohesive data solutions
• Champion data governance, quality, security, and modern architectural best practices such as data mesh and domain-oriented design

Required Qualifications

• Extensive experience optimizing and architecting Snowflake data platforms
• Strong hands-on expertise with DBT in large-scale data environments
• Proven experience as a Data Platform Architect or Cross-Domain Data Architect
• Cross-domain experience across Business Intelligence (BI), Master Data Management (MDM), Content Data Architecture, or Enterprise Data Platforms
• Deep understanding of relational and dimensional data modeling techniques
