Security Officer - Building Entry Control

As a Security Officer - Building Entry Control in El Paso, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Allied Universal Access Control Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will help manage lobby and entry point activity by verifying credentials, coordinating visitor check-in, monitoring alarms and cameras, and documenting security-related events. You will also conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help to deter unwanted activity while delivering professional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Manage access control for a commercial property by checking identification, verifying authorization, issuing temporary badges as directed, and maintaining visitor and delivery logs.
• Monitor entry and exit points, CCTV, and alarm or access systems, and report irregular activity to site leadership and/or dispatch to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, completing required notifications and written reports.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of common areas, building entrances, and the property perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
