As a Security Officer - Production Plant Driver in Fort Smith, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced manufacturing and industrial location as an unarmed Patrol Officer with a driving post. You will patrol the property, perform visible rounds and perimeter checks, help to identify and report security-related concerns, and support access points as needed. You will also deliver strong customer service and clear communication while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and grounded in integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor and/or contractor activity in accordance with site requirements, including checking identification and directing people to the proper locations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, disturbances, and/or suspicious activity to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
• Complete required reports and logs such as patrol activity, incident documentation, and shift turnover notes using site-approved systems and procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
