Job Description




As a Security Officer - Armed Dispatch Desk Monitor in Marietta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal in an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents, and provide prompt communication and support to team members and visitors. This is an armed and driving post, where your presence and professionalism contribute to a secure environment while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and putting people first.

What You'll Do:

  • Operate as a central communication point, receiving and dispatching information to appropriate personnel within the location.
  • Monitor security-related systems such as cameras, alarms, and access control within an aerospace and defense environment.
  • Coordinate response to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site-specific procedures.
  • Maintain detailed records of all activities, incidents, and communications for documentation and follow-up.
  • Assist with access control by verifying credentials and managing visitor logs as required by site policies.
  • Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with security-related inquiries and procedures.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and client contacts to help to deter unauthorized activities and support a secure environment.
  • Remain up to date on site-specific policies, emergency protocols, and any changes in procedures relevant to the dispatch function.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
  • Possess an armed guard card or license as required.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • CPR and first aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
