As a Security Officer in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and assist with access control and incident reporting. This is a driving post, so you may operate a vehicle as part of your rounds. You will represent Allied Universal with integrity, teamwork, and a caring, people-first approach while delivering reliable customer service and clear communication.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity; working environments and conditions may vary by post.
• Monitor access points and controlled areas by checking identification, verifying authorization, managing visitor processing, and documenting entries and/or exits per site requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting concerns, coordinating with site contacts, and communicating updates using radios, phones, and/or other systems.
• Complete detailed shift activity logs and incident reports, note hazards and/or maintenance concerns, and elevate issues through the established chain of command.

Minimum Requirements:

• Security Experience - 2+ Years.
• Client Requires Proof of HS Diploma/GED.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• State, County, or City Issued Security License - preferred.
• Customer Service Experience - preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
