As a Security Officer - Logistics Patrol - Day Shifts in Ellenwood, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support site operations by responding to requests, documenting observations, and communicating clearly with team members and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a logistics and distribution environment.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and notifying site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, yard, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access, theft, and/or property damage; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Control access at gates and entry points by checking identification, verifying appointments and/or shipping documentation, and directing drivers and visitors to designated areas.
• Monitor cameras and other security-related systems, complete reports such as incident logs and patrol activity, and communicate status updates via radio and/or phone while supporting shipping and receiving operations as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
