As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a major utilities location, you will spend much of your shift driving and conducting routine patrols, staying visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will monitor assigned areas, manage access points as needed, document observations, and communicate clearly with site teams and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at a utilities location by carrying out Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, yards, parking areas, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor and control access at gates, lobbies, and other controlled points by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and directing authorized personnel and deliveries to designated areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications to site contacts and/or public responders as directed by post orders.
• Complete detailed reports and logs of patrol activities, access control actions, incidents, and security-related observations, and communicate relevant updates during shift handoff.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 1+ years of security experience.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
