Staff Skills for Success; Leadership Skills for Success About the College The E3 (Engaged, Experiential, and Entrepreneurial) Development & Registrar Associate will support both the College Registrar and the CALS Career/E3 teams, reporting to the Assistant Registrar for Curriculum Management and collaborating closely with the E3 (career development) staff. In this innovative role, the incumbent will prioritize registrar functions while managing experiential learning in support of career-related engagement for students. The position helps CALS meet its commitments as an Engaged College (including grant-funded community engagement initiatives) by integrating career development efforts into experiential learning, study abroad, and undergraduate research. This role will ensure the experiences are captured in our degree tracking system to meet the new CALS graduation requirement. The E3 Development & Registrar Associate will collaborate across CALS Student Services, attending curriculum committee meetings and working with faculty and advisors to ensure that academic and career requirements are accurately tracked and communicated. The Registrar support tasks include maintaining academic records and registration processes, supporting the graduation clearance process, applying transfer and advanced credits to student records, and handling curriculum data and policy questions. The E3 Development Associate tasks involve administering and verifying Engaged, Experiential, and Entrepreneurial (E3) graduation milestone applications, overseeing course-based and non-course experiential learning opportunities, and processing study abroad course credit. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are required to serve as a liaison between students, faculty, and staff in both domains. Key attributes for success include in-depth knowledge of academic policies and curriculum, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to improving student outcomes. The E3 Development & Registrar Associate will collaborate with the Career & E3 Development Associate with study abroad support for students to develop valuable skills valued by employers while abroad. This support includes-but is not limited to-answering general student questions, reviewing study abroad course approval forms, maintaining an updated course approval database, ensuring official transcripts are posted accurately to the student record, and consulting on study abroad course exceptions for Stellic (degree tracking tool). Another facet of this role will include Academic and Facilities Scheduling. This requires a detail-oriented and collaborative individual to manage classroom and exam scheduling for CALS using the university's scheduling tool, 25Live. This role involves coordinating with course coordinators and central scheduling staff to resolve space conflicts, ensure policy compliance, and support effective use of scheduling systems. The position also coordinates nonacademic event scheduling and serves as a key liaison for facilities-related updates.
