As an Employee Relations Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping Northwell's culture by serving as a trusted advisor to leaders. You'll navigate employee relations matters with expertise, and a commitment to resolution, ensuring compliance, minimizing risk, and upholding our core values. This is an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact on the employee experience and contribute to our strategic HR initiatives. Key Responsibilities
Serve as a primary point of contact and consultant for leaders on a wide range of employee relations matters, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and policy interpretation.
Proactively respond to and resolve employee relations inquiries in a timely and professional manner, delivering clear, actionable advice and support.
Maintains comprehensive and accurate records and documentation within tracking system, ensuring data integrity.
Makes recommendations for process improvements and contributes to the Employee Relations team in decision-making strategies.
Partners closely with HR Partners, Legal, and other internal stakeholders to ensure a consistent, integrated, approach to employee relations. Qualification(s)
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
Minimum of three (3) years relevant work experience. Employee relations experience preferred.
Excellent communication skills: verbal, written and presentation.
Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS systems, and case management systems. Additional Salary Detail
