Procore
United States, Texas, Austin
221 West 6th Street (Show on map)
Jan 27, 2026

We are looking for a high-energy, strategic Project Transformation Lead to play a foundational role "standing up" our newly formed Professional Services Project Management Office (PMO). This isn't just a role about executing tasks-it's about building the framework, processes, and culture that will define how our Professional Services organization delivers value to our clients.

You will act as a bridge between high-level strategy and tactical execution. You will be instrumental in moving us from ad-hoc project management to a sophisticated, scalable PMO model in the Professional Services Organization.

This position reports to the Director of PMO and can be based in one of our US offiices or can work remotely from any US location. We're looking for someone to join us immediately.

What you'll do:

  • PMO Infrastructure Development: Collaborate with the Director to design and implement standard PMO artifacts, including governance frameworks, reporting templates, and project health metrics.

  • Process Engineering: Define and refine the Services Delivery Framework workflows, ensuring a seamless blend of Agile methodologies with professional services delivery standards.

  • Change Management Leadership: Lead the organizational transition as we adopt new PMO standards. You will identify friction points and develop strategies to ensure high adoption rates across the engineering and consulting teams.

  • Project Execution: Manage a portfolio of initiatives, modeling "gold standard" execution for the rest of the organization.

  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as a primary point of contact to internal teams, ensuring transparent communication regarding project timelines, risks, and adoption.

What we're looking for:

  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years of Project Management experience, with a proven track record of managing projects from inception to deployment.

  • Professional Services Background: A must-have background in professional services or management consulting. You must understand the nuances of billable environments and client-facing delivery.

  • Change Management Mastery: Strong experience in organizational change management. You know how to influence culture and shift behaviors, not just update spreadsheets.

  • Agile Expertise: Deep familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and how they integrate into a broader SDLC.

  • Adaptability: Comfortable with the ambiguity that comes with "standing up" a new department.

  • Communication: Ability to translate technical software concepts into business value for executive stakeholders.

  • Tooling: Proficiency with PM software (e.g., Smartsheet, Salesforce, Certinia, Jira) and data visualization tools.

  • Education/Certifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business, IT, or a related field.

    • PMP or CAPM certification preferred.

    • Prosci or equivalent Change Management certification is a huge plus.

    • Scrum or other Agile certifications.
