Registered Nurse (RN)- Acute Oncology, Night Shift R0079332 Bring your clinical expertise and compassionate care to a team where oncology nursing is both a science and a calling. On 3 South, you will play a vital role in supporting patients through some of their most complex and meaningful healthcare journeys, delivering advanced treatments while building lasting connections with patients and their families. This is an opportunity to practice at a high level on a specialized inpatient oncology unit, where nurses are trusted, supported, and empowered to provide evidence-based care in a collaborative, team-first environment. The Role As a Registered Nurse on 3 South Acute Oncology, you will deliver comprehensive care to a diverse population of patients with hematologic malignancies and solid tumor cancers in a 28-bed inpatient unit focused on complex, specialty care. In this dynamic environment, you will build deep clinical expertise while caring for patients with both oncology and medical-surgical needs. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing required within 5 years of hire. Experience: 1 year of relevant experience. Licensure: Licensed to Practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia. American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Job requires standing for prolonged periods, frequently traveling, bending/stooping. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 20 - 50lbs. May be exposed to chemicals, blood/body fluids and infectious disease. The pay range for this role is $39.90 - $53.00 hourly.
