Senior Channel/Brand Integrity Manager

With 1,300 employees, 19 global facility locations and selling in over 80 countries, the Johnson Outdoors team is continuing to grow! This new Senior Channel/Brand Integrity Manager safeguards the reputation and integrity of our brands across wholesale, e-commerce, and global marketplace channels. Responsible for ensuring our products are represented, priced, and distributed in ways that align with each brand's strategy while supporting sustainable, profitable growth. Partners closely with Sales, Marketing, Ecommerce, Legal, and Operations to define channel strategies, maintain alignment between brand positioning and channel execution, and reduce unauthorized distribution and marketplace risk.

Note: This role can be remote or work a hybrid schedule based out of our Racine, Wisconsin headquarters.

Key Responsibilities:

Channel Compliance & Brand Strategy Alignment



  • Collaborates with Sales and Marketing leadership to define and support brand-specific channel strategies across Johnson Outdoors' portfolio.
  • Ensures distribution policies, procedures, and enforcement practices remain aligned with each brand's positioning, consumer promise, and growth strategy.
  • Implements and manages channel compliance programs, including authorized reseller frameworks, Minimum Advertised Price (MAP/IMAP) policies, marketplace participation standards, and warranty/material difference guidelines.
  • Regularly reviews and refines policies as brand strategies, channels, and consumer behaviors evolve.


Marketplace Oversight



  • Supports brand execution across key marketplaces, including Amazon, Walmart, eBay, and emerging platforms.
  • Partners with E-commerce teams to maintain accurate and consistent product content, clean Amazon Standard Identification Number (ASIN) structures, and controlled pricing environments.
  • Balances marketplace growth opportunities with brand integrity and channel discipline.


Brand Protection & Enforcement



  • Identifies, tracks, and addresses unauthorized sellers, grey-market diversion, cross-border sales, and counterfeit or materially different products.
  • Coordinates with internal teams and external partners to prioritize and resolve issues.
  • Ensures enforcement actions support long-term brand equity.


Brand Health, Consumer Experience & Business Development Support



  • Analyzes product-specific brand protection and marketplace data to identify channel risk and growth opportunities.
  • Translates insights into actionable inputs for Sales, Marketing, and business development teams.
  • Identifies patterns that may impact consumer trust, product credibility, or brand perception.


Sales & Internal Alignment



  • Acts as a strategic partner to Sales teams to support compliant, sustainable growth.
  • Educates internal stakeholders on how channel compliance supports long-term revenue.
  • Serves as a trusted internal resource for channel and marketplace-related issues.


Reporting & Insights



  • Develops and maintains reporting on unauthorized seller activity, pricing trends, and compliance health.
  • Shares insights with leadership to inform channel strategy and policy adjustments.


Other



  • Performs other duties as assigned.



Supervisory Responsibilities:



  • Manages, controls, and recommends budgets within approved guidelines.



What you need to succeed:



  • Typically requires a bachelor's degree in business, marketing or equivalent.


  • Typically requires a minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible experience in managing channel compliance, brand protection, e-commerce, and/or distribution strategies within a consumer durable goods environment. Proven experience developing and enforcing channel compliance programs (e.g., MAP/IMAP policies, authorized reseller frameworks).


  • Strong understanding of e-commerce marketplaces (Amazon, Walmart, eBay) and marketplace governance best practices.


  • Knowledge of pricing compliance, marketplace content standards, and anti-diversion/counterfeit prevention strategies.


  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools to monitor compliance health and marketplace trends.


  • Familiarity with enforcement tools, monitoring platforms, and marketplace policy frameworks.


  • Strategic thinker with ability to balance brand integrity and growth objectives.


  • Strong communication and influencing skills to drive alignment across multiple stakeholders.


  • Successful experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and effectively managing business partnerships across multiple business units.


  • Ability to manage complex issues, prioritize actions, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.


  • High level of integrity and commitment to protecting brand equity and consumer trust.
