Responsibilities & Expectations:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician for IPS, it is important that you are up to the task of installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery, equipment, physical structures, pipes and electrical systems in the service Center. It is required that you follow all safety procedures and wear the necessary Personal Protective Equipment when applicable.

  • Repair & maintain forklifts, cranes, vehicles, HVAC, and trailers.
  • Repair and maintain facility tools, machines, furniture, and equipment.
  • Building and grounds maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain surveillance systems.
  • Routine shop and equipment inspections.
  • Personal safety, learning, and training.
  • Diagnose and repair computer aided machinery.
  • Repair and maintain advanced machinery under tight tolerances.
  • Repair and maintain both high and low voltage equipment.
  • Work from heights and routinely lift over 50 pounds.
  • Efficiently make needed repairs to get production back online.
  • Assist with facility electrical repairs.
  • Occasional call-outs.

    Qualifications and Competencies:
  • Three years of previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent with course work in skilled crafts or trades training.
  • Must be a hands-on person capable of working in a fast-paced environment, while handling multiple projects at one time.
  • Must be able to use mechanical tools, electrical test equipment, measuring instruments, and be able to read blueprints.
  • Must have own mechanics tools.
  • May require lifting of up to 50lbs.
