POSITION: Associate HR Generalist

LOCATION: Stafford HQ (Hybrid role with 3 days in office)

STATUS: Open and Interviewing

TRAVEL: Negligible

CLEARANCE: Ability to obtain Secret Clearance

DESCRIPTION: Patricio Enterprises is looking for an associate human resource generalist, responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and working closely with senior HR management to support designated geographic regions and Federal contracts. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment/employment, affirmative action and employment law compliance.

Primary duties will include (but not limited to):

  • Manages full onboarding and offboarding processes including new hire orientation and benefits management.


  • Maintains company organization charts.
  • Performs benefits administration, including claims resolution, change reporting, reconciling invoices for payment and communicating benefits information to employees.
  • Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database. (Deltek CostPoint and UKG experience highly desired)
  • Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all organization personnel; assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; maintains the employee handbook and the policies and procedures manual.
  • Participates in compliance with the corporate affirmative action program, preparation of EEO-1 and VETS 4212 reports annually, and maintains other records, reports and logs to conform to OFCCP regulations.
  • Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to continually improve efficiency of the department and services performed.


  • Implements employee recognition programs.


  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.
  • Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS system UKG.



EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:



  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.



EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:



  • HRCI Certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Associate Professional in Human Resources (aPHR) and/or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP).
  • At least one year of human resource management experience preferred.



TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:



  • Negligible



PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:



  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
