Journeyman Electrician

POSITION SCOPE AND ORGANIZATIONAL IMPACT

Moss is the #1 Solar EPC and is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Journeyman to support our electrical team in Robards, Kentucky.

Pay range is $30-$34 per hour, based on experience level. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Supervise multiple electrical crews ensuring we are compliant with state statutes * Supervise, mentor, and train apprentices

* Ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety procedures

* Run electrical wiring for DC and AC circuits according to project specifications and local codes

* Diagnosing and resolving electrical issues within solar PV systems

* Performing routine inspections and maintenance checks on solar installations *

Ensure all electrical work complies with state and local building codes and regulations * Perform other duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS

* Must enjoy working outdoors in all types of weather

* Must be able to walk, stand, kneel, and lift heavy materials, adhering to all safety standards

* Must have reliable transportation to and from the project site

* Ability to convey a positive and professional attitude, adhering to Moss core values

* To ensure a safe work environment, a pre-employment drug screening is required EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

* State Journeyman license required for the state employed in * Minimum of High School diploma required

* Proficiency in using electrical tools and testing equipment for solar installations

* Comfortable working in a fast-moving dynamic environment with ability to handle a high pressure environment, and prioritize work effectively

* Detail oriented, organized, and efficient individual able to complete tasks in a timely and accurate manner
