What the job involves:

We are currently seeking aSummer Intern in Business Intelligenceto join our team. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience with data analysis, business insights, and performance optimization within the real estate industry. You will support business intelligence functions-from data visualization to automation-to help JLL teams deliver value through informed decision-making.

As aSummer Intern in Business Intelligenceat JLL, you will:

  • Assist in delivering customer service insightsto various stakeholders, supporting the alignment of diverse business needs.
  • Translate business needs into system and user requirementsand help articulate these into actionable technical specifications.
  • Support the design and development of automated reports, dashboards, and analyticsto enhance data accessibility and decision-making.
  • Gain hands-on experience with JLL Technologies tools, such as Tableau, for developing real-time business data insights.
  • Perform data analysis on large datasetsusing SQL queries and other analytical tools to answer key business questions.
  • Contribute to forecasting, trend analysis, and data visualization effortsthat help evaluate performance and drive outcomes.
  • Assist in managing system access and conducting recurring security audits, as well as troubleshooting system issues.
  • Support leadership with special projects, including report creation, operational optimization, and preparation of business communications such as Quarterly Business Reports.

Education, Skills, and Experience

Required:

  • Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree with 2-3 years completed, majoring inEngineering, Finance, Information Technology,or other related fields.
  • Strongorganizational skillsand attention to detail.
  • Excellentpresentation and communication skills(verbal and written).
  • Proactive and self-directedwork habits.
  • Ability tocollaborate effectively in diverse teams.
  • Flexible and able to adapt tochanging business requirements.

Preferred:

  • Ability toanalyze complex datasetsand identify meaningful insights.
  • Experience working withstakeholdersto gather and interpret functional requirements.
  • Demonstratedinitiative, confidence,and professionalism.
  • Experience instrategic thinkingand embracing change as an opportunity.
  • Familiarity withSharePoint, Smartsheet, Tableau,andAlteryxor similar data tools.
  • Experience or interest incontinuous improvementandprocess re-engineering.
  • Understanding ofclient needsand an ability to manage expectations effectively.

We donot offer relocation assistance or housingfor our internship program.
