Essential Duties and Responsibilities: In addition to the essential job functions described below, all associates will perform duties as requested by management. Assigned responsibilities and duties may vary based upon location size and operation.

• Supervising drivers, driver safety, and customer service.
• Responsible for monitoring fuel inventory at customer locations.
• Dispatch drivers to replenish fuel inventory at customer locations.
• Review and complete the order process, prepare schedules for all deliveries.
• Responsible for implementing Federal, State and local rules and regulations.
• Monitor fuel usage and make independent decisions in regards when and where to deliveries, including decisions regarding diverting loads, canceling deliveries and adding deliveries as needed based on market conditions.
• Ensure the overall customer experience and service exceeds Company standards.
• Plan and assign deliveries to maximize productivity, profitability and customer service.
• Anticipate, identify, prioritize and resolve/eliminate problems through effective delivery, planning and scheduling.
• Forecast and project fueling needs/deliveries based on recent or prior sales.
• Performs load planning activities and coordinates load assignments.
• Handle administrative paperwork and computer entry duties.

Additional Responsibilities

• Maximize customer service and company profits through effective management of fuel inventories, drivers, trucks, and fuel supply network.
• Dispatch Software Experience (Prefer SmartLogix)
• Experience or knowledge of fuel inventory management tools.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Fuel dispatching experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong ability to multi-task.
• Strong communication skills
• Maximize customer service and company profits through effective management of fuel inventories, drivers, trucks, and fuel supply network.
• Demonstrates effective problem solving/analytical skills, and pays attention to details.
• Well organized and strong time management skills.
• Strong ability to thrive in a fast-paced, change-oriented, high-pressure work environment.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year experience in dispatching or in a lead/management role within operations strongly preferred
• Experience in logistics preferred, but not required
• Expect regular monthly travel- up to 10%
