Constant Contact employees span demographics and geographies. Internal communications and employer branding are critical parts of representing the voices of our employees and executives to create communications that build engagement and connection across the entire Constant Contact team-and showcase our culture to the world. The Senior Manager of Internal Communications & Employer Brand will help bring the voice of the company to life internally and externally as an employer, combining creativity with strong organizational skills to manage numerous and varied projects to tight deadlines. You'll lead and mentor an Employer Brand employee while working with a diverse group of stakeholders to produce internal communications, employer brand content, meetings and events for our employees and executives.

What You'll Do:

Internal Communications:





    • Support the development and execution of internal communication strategies and programs that engage, inspire, and align employees with Constant Contact's brand, vision, priorities, and key initiatives
    • Build and manage partnerships with key internal stakeholders, including Marketing, HR, IT, Executive Leaders, Customer Operations, and Procurement to create clear communications that distill subjects into easy-to-understand language across teams and geographies
    • Develop, write, and edit communications and presentations for executives on a regular basis
    • Execute All Company meetings and leader meetings, providing strategic direction and operational support
    • Partner with leadership to support internal communications needs across HR, IT, Executive Leaders, Marketing, and Customer Operations
    • Support internal crisis communications in partnership with HR (e.g., severe weather, security incidents)
    • Help shape and cultivate the internal voice of our company, sharing essential information via channels like email and Slack




Employer Branding:





    • Oversee employer brand storytelling that positions Constant Contact as a modern, innovative, and values-driven company that empowers small business success
    • Guide the creation and management of culture content showcasing real people behind our innovation (videos, blogs, social media) through your direct report
    • Ensure leadership is humanized and career growth opportunities are showcased
    • Partner with Brand and PR teams to repurpose thought leadership content for recruitment and employer brand initiatives




Events & Operations:





    • Support the execution of a comprehensive events suite, including Company Kickoff, President's Club and Fall Fest, working closely with the senior events manager
    • Manage vendor relationships including swag vendor and event agency
    • Take on special projects as needed (swag store, vendor relations, etc.)
    • Lead, mentor, and develop your direct report, fostering their growth and ensuring they deliver results




Strategic Partnership:





    • Support executives with communications counsel that reflects an understanding of the business and their unique leadership style and voice
    • Collaborate with external communications team to ensure consistency in executive and brand voice across internal communications, employer branding, and thought leadership
    • Support executive thought leadership initiatives that strengthen both brand authority and employer brand




Who You Are:



  • 5-7 years of experience in internal communications, employer branding, public relations, or corporate communications
  • 2+ years of people management experience, including mentoring, performance management, and team development
  • Experience supporting employer brand strategies and employee storytelling campaigns
  • Experience with crisis communications and supporting executive leadership
  • Strong background in social media content creation and employee advocacy programs
  • Experience with communication planning and project management for corporate events
  • Ability to work calmly, stay organized, and maintain good judgment in a fast-paced environment
  • Skilled at building relationships with stakeholders and ability to work well across teams, functions, and levels
  • Experience creating video content and visual storytelling for employer brand and culture initiatives
  • Self-motivated and creative with execution skills to match
  • Ability to work within a small team, to flow to the work
  • Focused on optimization and improvement at every turn
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills with ability to adapt voice and tone for different audiences
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Experience supporting strategic planning for internal communications, employer branding, and events
  • Familiarity with employer brand platforms (LinkedIn, Glassdoor, etc.) and analytics

The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education and work location. In addition, some roles may be eligible for additional on target commission pay or bonus. The compensation package includes health and welfare benefits including paid leave.

$134,800 $168,500 USD
