Position Overview
The Sr. Marketing Specialist I serves as the strategic lead for Divisional Marketing, owning the development and execution of marketing strategies, content direction, and annual plans that drive measurable growth for assigned product divisions. This role combines strategic leadership, executional excellence, and people management to ensure divisional initiatives align with corporate objectives and deliver business impact.

This individual oversees divisional marketing strategy and content across all channels, leads complex multi-channel programs, and manages assigned team member(s). The Sr. Specialist I partners closely with Product Management, Sales, Digital Marketing, and leadership to translate business goals into comprehensive marketing plans and campaigns.

Key Responsibilities



  • Own the development and execution of annual Marketing Plans for major focus areas, aligning directly with divisional and corporate business strategies.
  • Serve as the strategic marketing lead for assigned product divisions, ensuring alignment between product roadmap, sales priorities, and marketing initiatives.
  • Lead the planning and execution of New Product Launches, ensuring full integration across channels and touchpoints.


  • Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape. Use insights to guide marketing strategies and initiatives.


  • Design and manage multi-touch campaigns across digital, social, email, print, and events, proactively optimizing ROI.
  • Drive media planning and purchasing strategy, managing negotiations and evaluating partner performance.
  • Shape messaging strategies and guide content creation across campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand and business priorities.
  • Manage divisional program budgets, providing forecasts, monitoring spend, and presenting recommendations to leadership.
  • Analyze campaign performance data to measure success and ROI. Provide recommendations for optimization and improvement.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on marketing performance, campaign results, and strategic recommendations to senior management.
  • Manage and develop assigned team member(s), including setting priorities, providing ongoing feedback, conducting performance reviews, and supporting professional growth.
  • Collaborate across functions to build alignment and drive results, influencing without direct authority.
  • Oversee workload distribution across divisional initiatives, ensuring alignment with business priorities and efficient execution.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives within the marketing team to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive team culture, modeling leadership and accountability.



Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 5-7 years of progressive B2B marketing experience.
  • Strong financial acumen, able to forecast budgets and interpret ROI.
  • Recognized for strong leadership, mentoring, and project management skills.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media platforms, and analytics tools.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative marketing solutions.
  • Proven track record of achieving marketing goals and driving business growth.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in marketing software and tools, such as Google Analytics and Salesforce CRM systems.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and accountable.
  • Able to work with minimal direction.
  • Proven experience managing and developing team members, including providing coaching, feedback, and workload direction preferred.
