This position is responsible for providing service and support for the Sherwin Williams groups such as GSC, CBG, PSG, and PCG related to natural weathering. The responsibilities are a mixture of indoor and outdoor activities, from data entry to working with samples in the field all seasons of the year. Tasks include but are not limited to labeling, painting and rating exposure panels.

Job duties include contact with other employees and access confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Company's staff, employees, and business relationships.

* Application of coatings to substrates as designated in the series design, and inspection and evaluation of weathered exposure panels.
* Monitors/rates active exposures, identifying corrective action when issues are encountered.
* Ensuring timely and accurate entry of data into exposure tracking databases as required.
* Generation of the necessary tracking files and paperwork.
* Ensuring timely processing of exposure requests
* Shipping, receiving, packing, and handling of samples to and from SW and external sites.
* Understanding and contributing to the entire exposure processes/workflow/tools and support changes to these systems as business needs change.
* Adhering to safety, quality, and housekeeping policies and guidelines.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* Must be legally authorized to work in the country for which you are applying for employment (without now or in the future needing sponsorship for employment work visa and/or permanent residence status).
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Must be at least 18 years of age.
* Some prior experience or basic knowledge of painting and painting techniques
* Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
* Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
* Excellent organization and planning skills
* Proven problem-solving / decision-making ability
* Maintains computer efficiency and uses software programs, such as, but not limited to, Business Objects, Concur, LIMS, and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, etc.),
* Written and verbal communication of all results. Good communication and interpersonal skills, good organizational and planning abilities, and a high level of initiative.
* Serves as an expert in internal exterior exposure methods.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Basic knowledge of accelerated exposure testing.

Travel Requirements: 10%
