Your Job Join Molex as a key leader driving the development and implementation of standards, processes, and best practices within Metrology and Disposition Engineering teams. You will lead continuous improvement initiatives, manage advanced product quality planning activities, and oversee metrology equipment and lab resources. This role involves strong collaboration with global cross-cultural teams to standardize processes, perform statistical analysis to support product development decisions, and ensure compliance with industry standards such as IATF. Your expertise will be essential in supporting design reviews, maintaining quality procedures, and driving measurement strategy and disposition process excellence throughout product development. What You Will Do * Develop, implement and maintain standards, processes, and instructions for metrology and disposition engineering groups. * Drive continual improvement within Metrology & DQE groups. * Identify, implement and drive Best Known Practices. * Report and maintain group metrics. * Responsible for Advanced Product Quality Planning Disposition Phase activities as defined in the PDP Product Development Procedure. * Owner of the following PDP deliverables: measurement strategy development, measurement activities, disposition process development (tool qualification driving to 100% PIST). * Oversee Metrology/DQE involvement in drawing reviews in design for measurability. * Performs statistical analysis for the qualification, control and continuous improvement of processes, products and equipment. Ensure the metrology/statistical data is understood by the Product Development team so the data can be used to drive appropriate decisions/action, or seeks advice for more senior department members as needed. * Ensures that product development and department procedures for quality are up to date and meet appropriate standards. Highlights gaps when discovered and suggests solutions to correct. * Oversee Metrology Lab, metrology equipment and resources (Lab Scope, adherence to IATF standards) * Strong collaboration driving Global process standardization * Lead cross-cultural global team * Lead and Drive continuous improvement on dimensional disposition process Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) * 2 years experience in Product Development field of electrical connector systems in either design and/or dispositioning. Needs to have experience in product development and design. * Strong understanding of fundamental dimensional control principles (datum coordination, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), etc.) * Strong leadership skills and desire to lead staff by example * Strong ability to direct staff and help them achieve self-actualization.. * Customer focused mindset * Strong resource management * Strong organization skills to anticipate, plan, organize and self-monitor workload. * Strong problem-solving skills and use of techniques (5-why, IS/IS NOT, fishbone diagram, etc) * PC skills. Working knowledge of spreadsheet and other Windows based software. * Verbal and written communications skills that demonstrate the ability to express ideas and exchange clearly and concisely. * Basic statistical knowledge * Excellent team building and interpersonal skills; experience in a team-oriented work environment What Will Put You Ahead * 3-5 years in Automotive Quality Engineering or related field in a new product introduction environment. * Bachelor's Degree in a related field. * Metrology knowledge: Understand CT Scanning Capabilities and Limitations, understand all potential measurement methods of components * Volume Graphics, Calypso, PC-DMIS programming background * Design of Experiments training * QS/TS16949 Internal auditing training * Stamping/molding/assembly plant experience * ASQC Certification (CQE) * Industrial CT (Computed Tomography) knowledge and metrotomography * Strong understanding of electrical connector part function * Familiarity 3D and 2D tolerance analysis and plastic manufacturing processes At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
