Scope:

  • The Team Lead is responsible for organizing and motivating all shifts and communicating issues to the supervisor, assuming the responsibility of emergency coordinator/IC in the absence of the supervisor. This position combines the attributes of an advanced RF Lamination operator while being a leader and a positive example to those under the direction of the lead. Responsible for quality, workflow, efficiency, and communicating company expectations, as well as the inspection of products to ensure quality. The team Lead will be cross-trained in all areas and operational on all RF lamination side equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitors and produces product quality by initiating actions to prevent product nonconformity, identifying and recording any quality problems, initiating, recommending, and providing solutions, verifying the implementation of solutions, and controlling further processing delivery of nonconforming products until the deficiency has been corrected.

  • Be able to adjust and execute efficiently when production plans fall through.

  • Prioritize product flow through the department at any time

  • Train newer Lamination operators and train senior operators to train the newer/incoming operators

  • Assist newer operators and answer their technical questions appropriately and accurately

  • Interface with Lamination Engineering and work on a plan/schedule to utilize the departments' equipment while maintaining and prioritizing product flow

  • Assign operators where needed to meet demands.

  • Assist in disciplining operators if need be

  • Supports and assists personnel; acts as lead person in the manager's absence.

  • Maintains a high degree of quality in all work performed. Keeps QC areas clean and professional.

  • Maintains a high level of professionalism at all times.

  • Visually inspect assemblies using various inspection equipment (microscopes, calibers, X-ray equipment) or conform to the customer, IPC guideline specifications, and any written procedures.

  • Record inspection data accept/reject quantities to inspection forms.

  • Take an active role in Quality Department meetings.

  • Perform product process/inspection audit within the cell group as required.

  • Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and efficiently; document and report quality issues during the production process to supervisor.

  • Assist other departments when necessary.

  • Regular attendance is an essential job function for this position.

  • Ability to sit and stand up to 9 hours daily.

  • Able to lift up to 40 pounds, bending, leaning, pushing, and pulling cart.

  • Flexible and can cross-train to work in any position throughout buildings.

  • Ability to safely work or come in contact with chemical, physical (noise, etc.) or biological agents.

  • Regular attendance is an essential job function of this position.

  • Due to ITAR requirements, applicants must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents.

  • Be able to learn or have knowledge of Oracle.

Education and Experience:

Education:

  • A high school diploma or GED is required.

Preferred Experience:

  • 2+ years' related experience in an inspection environment, preferably electronics. Previous experience leading and directing a team is preferred.

Compensation for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, TTM provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that my be hired in New York, California and Colorado. For California-based roles, compensation ranges are based upon specific physical locations.
