ARES has an exciting opportunity for a Summer 2026 Intern to join our team supporting the NASA Mission Technical Integration Contact (MTIC). This position will provide technical support to projects associated with the International Space Station, Commercial Crew, Orion, and Gateway programs.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have an interest in engineering, science, or technology
  • Must have strong listening skills
  • Ability to prepare work summaries, presentations, and or reports as required
  • Work in a team environment and report to a project lead for technical support and task assignments
  • Strong organization, time management, attention to detail and excellent follow-through skills
  • Regular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is critical
  • Professional behavior to promote teamwork and cooperation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Windows Enterprise operating systems, VMWare in HA environment, Networks (Cisco), load balancers (F5), Network Appliance mass storage (NetApp), and server monitoring tools (SolarWinds etc.).

Education and Relevant Work Experience:

  • Working towards a Bachelors Degree in science, technology, engineering, and or mathematics.
