Location Serving as a cornerstone of northern Atlanta's newest mixed-used community, the Omni Hotel at The Battery Atlanta is the official hotel of the Atlanta Braves and located within steps of SunTrust Park as well as premier office space, the Coca-Cola Roxy music venue and a variety of shopping and dining. Our luxury hotel features 16 floors with 264 rooms including 28 suites, over 20,000 square feet of meeting space and can accommodate business travelers, families on vacation and everyone in-between. Job Description If you love hospitality, creating amazing customer experiences, and the structure and benefits that come from working with a hotel company then you will love working with Omni! The Leader-in-Development (LID) program is a 12-18 month program designed to develop graduates into successful managers in the division they wish to pursue. The Finance LID will spend 40 hours each week as an accounting generalist and 7.5 hours completing commitments throughout the training property. Upon completion of the LID program, the Finance LID will move into an Accounting managerial role at another Omni property. Commitments are projects that will allow LIDs to learn about general hotel operations, as well as the details and functions of their division. Each commitment will provide resources and evaluation criteria. Responsibilities
Meet monthly with the Division Head and Director of Human Resources to review progress and submit a monthly feedback report to the corporate office.
Qualifications Job Requirements: The candidate must be a highly motivated individual with great communications skills and a Bachelors Degree from an accredited college. Previous accounting experience a plus. Upon completion of the program the candidate must be open to relocate to one of our Omni properties.
