Opportunity Details:

  • Contributes to the education of medical trainees by participating in teaching, staff conferences, and assigned research projects.
  • Conducts consultations for patients who suffer from birth defects, injuries, burn wounds, or those seeking cosmetic enhancement.
  • Prepares patients for both surgical and non-surgical procedures, ensuring they are informed and comfortable throughout the process.
  • Oversees post-procedure care, including stitch removal, incision assessments, and monitoring the healing process.
Qualifications
  • Board Eligibility or Board Certification in Plastic Surgery by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS).
  • Completion of a Hand Surgery Fellowship.
  • Active New York State medical license.
  • Five years of full-time licensed experience as a physician practicing hand surgery and soft tissue coverage.

Wages and Benefits include:

Annual Base Salary: $322,000* (board eligible); $332,000* (board certified) based on 40-hour work week.

The annual total value of compensation package is estimated at $394,200** (board eligible) and $405,200** (board certified),which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution and other factors as set forth below:

  • Projected bonusof up to $40,000 (based on previous year's average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
  • 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):
    • Employeesareimmediatelyvested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match isrequired.
    • After one yearofservice, employees receive anadditional7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match isrequired.
  • AnnualContinuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement.
  • GenerousAnnual Paid Time Off (PTO): Vacation, Sick, Holiday, and CME days.
  • Medical,Prescription, and Dental Coverage: Top-tier plans with employee contributions significantly below market rates.
  • LifeInsurance and Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) Coverage: Equal to 2x your salary (up to a maximum of $300,000) provided at no cost to you.
