Summary

A Senior Services Consultant at OneStream plays a pivotal role in the successful implementation and delivery of OneStream's unified platform to customers. This position involves supporting customers, internal staff, and partners throughout the implementation process, ensuring a seamless experience. Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to confidently present OneStream's value proposition and technology benefits.

Key responsibilities include guiding Lead and Junior staff through all phases of implementation, from requirements and design to build, testing, and rollout.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of the OneStream platform, prior implementation experience, and core product training to deliver high-quality solutions that meet customer needs. Additionally, the role requires owning independent workstreams and delivering customer solutions with minimal supervision.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities




  • Build extensible cubes & metadata, data sources, transformation rules, forms, journal templates, workflows
  • Migrate the various OS application (metadata, CV's, Dashboards, etc) and system (security, custom tables, etc) artifacts
  • Write certification questions
  • Exhibit full proficiency in writing cube views, report books, dashboards, custom dashboards, quick views
  • Produce initial drafts of all project documentation for review
  • Assist in leading Requirements and Design meetings
  • Recommend potential solutions to senior team member(s)
  • Write increasingly complex Business Rules (BR)
  • Write basic seeding rules, custom transformation rules, CF rules, parser business rules, conditional business rules, cube view extender rules, dashboard extender rules, and extensibility rules
  • Identify opportunities for expanding OneStream's business in existing clients
  • Engage in conversations with Sales to discuss implementation of a use case at current or prior customer (or employer)
  • Assist in validating the requirements and design
  • Support troubleshooting and resolution of application issues
  • Support, mentor, onboard junior team members
  • Work closely with customer on informal knowledge transfer
  • Respond to support requests for most basic and build tasks
  • Participate in Regional, North America, and Global practice calls
  • Present Lunch & Learn knowledge share sessions
  • Respond to Inquiries from OneStream Employees via OneCommunity
  • Compile & distribute Weekly Status Reports



Required Education and Experience




  • Bachelor's degree in fields such as (but not limited to) Accounting, Business, Finance, Information Systems, Mathematics, or CIS, or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of Corporate/Enterprise Performance Management (CPM/EPM) software implementation experience
  • 2+ Years OneStream Experience software implementation experience
  • Experience with SQL and relational databases
  • Experience with VB.NET and/or C#.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and data modeling skills
  • In-depth knowledge of financial accounting processes
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical background (consulting, banking, research)
  • Superior presentation skills
  • Strong technical skills/background as it relates to product implementation
  • Prior Experience with databases (Oracle, Essbase, etc.)



Preferred Education and Experience




  • Master degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Information Technology.
  • A professional accounting designation (e.g. CPA, CMA, CGA, CA), advanced degrees (MBA, MFA), and/or other professional designations or certifications (applicable to accounting/finance and information technology)
  • Prior experience with any of the following products is a plus:


    • SAP Outlooksoft BPC,SAP BOFC/BFC (Cartesis)
    • HFM (Hyperion Financial Management),FDM (Financial Data Quality Management),Hyperion Planning,Hyperion Essbase
    • IBM Cognos




Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities




  • Demonstrate Consulting principles in daily work and follows processes consistently


  • Comfortable interacting with customers and speak intelligently about CPM vision and MarketPlace solutions


  • Financial Skills (high-level understanding of financial concepts, intercompany eliminations, General Ledgers, debits, credits, etc.)
  • Technical skills/background as it relates to software
  • Outstanding MS Office skills, specifically with Excel
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical background
  • Organization & prioritization skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Ability to effectively operate independently or in a team environment
  • Ability to manage more senior project deliverables and complete multiple tasks on time with specific requirements


  • Ability to lead parts of design sessions and create drafts of project documentation, for review by project lead



Travel

Travel Requirement: Regular travel is a critical part of this role and a willingness to travel up to 80-100% of work time is required.
