Our leading wealth management client is seeking a versatile and creative Multimedia Producer to join their Global Communications team. This role is designed for a visual storyteller who can manage the entire production process-from concept development and pre-production planning to filming, editing, and final delivery. You will work closely with the Creative Experience team to produce high-quality visual and audio content that humanizes our brand and engages diverse audiences. From global town halls to executive LinkedIn content, you will bring a creative element to our corporate communications while maintaining strict brand standards. What You'll Do: Pre-Production & Concepting
- Collaborate with team members, stakeholders, and Creative Lead to understand objectives and develop creative concepts.
- Plan shoots, create storyboards, and prepare production schedules.
- "Do the work before hopping in"-developing the "why" behind the video before starting the technical build.
Production (Filming)
- Film high-quality video content using in-house Canon equipment.
- Capture clean audio and ensure technical excellence during on-site or off-site shoots.
- Traveling to various shoot locations or our Los Angeles office/vendors as needed.
Post-Production & Motion Graphics
- Video Editing: Edit diverse video types (sizzle reels, compilations, talking heads, interviews, and explainers) in Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Motion Graphics: Create dynamic animations, lower thirds, transitions, title cards, and text graphics in Adobe After Effects.
- Audio: Edit audio tracks for clarity, sound design, and source suitable music tracks.
- Execution: Manage assets including translating captions, formatting for different platforms, and uploading final files.
Design Integration & Collaboration
- Apply a strong "design eye" and visual layout skills to ensure all deliverables follow the corporate style guide.
- Work closely with the creative team (including two other designers) to incorporate feedback and meet tight deadlines.
- Manage social media assets, specifically for executive-level global communication on LinkedIn.
What You'll Bring:
- Experience: 3-6 years of multimedia production experience is preferred (though we will consider "rockstars" with less experience if their portfolio is exceptional).
- Technical Mastery: * Adobe After Effects: High proficiency is a key requirement.
- Adobe Premiere Pro: Advanced proficiency is required.
- Additional Tools: Audition, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Lightroom are strong pluses.
- Portfolio (Mandatory): Must showcase a range of video and motion graphics work. We are looking for end-to-end examples where you performed the work yourself, not just oversaw it.
- Equipment Knowledge: Comfortable operating Canon camera systems.
- Communication: Ability to work within a global communication team; must be a collaborator who thrives in a team setting rather than working in total isolation.
- Industry Background: Experience in Financial Services, Healthcare or Hospitality is a plus, though not required.
- Photography: Skills in photography are a significant advantage.
Work Structure:
- The Path to 40: You will start at 32 hours per week (Monday-Thursday). The goal is to transition to 40 hours as soon as possible.
- Hybrid Flexibility: Once at 40 hours, the schedule moves to Monday-Thursday on-site in Irvine, with Fridays being remote.
- Overtime: Eligible for overtime pay in both the 32-hour and 40-hour structures.
- Travel: Reimbursed for mileage for any off-site shoots or vendor visits.
- Interview Process: Open to virtual interviews for qualified candidates.
