Vendor & Contract Specialist - R&D Location: Plymouth, MN Hybrid schedule: Monday and Friday work from home; Tuesday-Thursday in office. Pay : $30.00 - $32.00 per hour 26-00410 Job Summary The Vendor & Contract Coordinator supports Research & Development operations by managing vendor contracts, processing invoices, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and ethical standards across multiple geographies. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve payment issues, maintain accurate records, and support procurement activities. Job Responsibilities Process invoices from external vendors, review with project leads, and coordinate payment authorization. Utilize multiple contract processing systems and Coupa for payment and contract management. Draft and submit vendor contracts in collaboration with Ethics & Compliance teams across various geographies, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements. Submit review requests and seek IRB approvals as needed for compliance. Work with Procurement to resolve payment issues, including vendor bank record discrepancies. Receive and review HFE Impact Assessment requests for Change Controls, complete assessments when required, and track prioritization for review. Collaborate with team members to assess vendor capabilities, onboard new vendors, and maintain updated supplier lists. Support broader R&D functions by assisting with ordering supplies and equipment. Job Requirements Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively, make decisions, and solve problems with minimal supervision. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools. Ability to identify process issues, recommend solutions, and implement improvements. Education High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred. Some college coursework is preferred. Work Experience Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in vendor coordination, contract management, or related roles. At least 5 years of experience supporting technical teams, ideally within a medical device R&D environment. #ZR
