IT - Applications Project Management and Coordination Intern (Summer 2026)

Description:

Encourage the cooperation and alignment between business functions and IT Teams with project management elements. Identification, specification and implementation of process changes in the business collaboration. Also, focus on bringing continuous improvement within the department of roughly 80 IT specialists according toagile principles (or lean management).

The qualified intern should expect to contribute & improve in the in the following functions:

• Project Management: Support for project planning, steering, and coordination.
• Run own small projects (see below) including documentation, evaluating, problem solving, and reporting.
• Help identify, design, and implement internal process improvements (agile/lean). Create presentations and communication documents using Corporate Identity standards.
• Support with major project spanning over the whole plant (Inbound Strategy and Vehicle Launch projects).
• Own smaller projects (depending on applicants' preference and availability).
• Perform tasks related to the agile transformation roadmap.

Qualifications:

• Candidate should be pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business or similar field.
• Demonstrated written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, WORD, EXCEL, PowerPoint).
• Analytical mind that is open to innovative ideas.
• Ideally with some IT background.
• German skills are advantageous.
• Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major).
• Have enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
• Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application.
• Able to work full-time on-site (40 hours / week).
• Transfer students must have a GPA from current university.
• MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT.
• Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
• Work term dates: May 18th to August 7th, 2026.
