Position Description

We are looking for team players who are curious enough to ask questions and explore new ideas, passionate enough to serve our customers, and ready to take ownership of challenges and grow with us. We are a team, first and foremost, and we take pride in our collaborative efforts! The Human Resources Generalist manages a broad range of human resource functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, HRIS, and compliance. This role serves as a key resource for varying levels of plant staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage hourly staffing and recruitment, including postings, sourcing, interviewing, internal movement, newhire onboarding, HRIS updates, and temporary employee data maintenance.
  • Administer HR policies and procedures across key functions, including talent acquisition, staffing, onboarding, compensation, benefits, training, employee relations, retention, records management, and compliance.
  • Manage employee relations matters and provide guidance and coaching to plant staff.
  • Support performance management processes and broader talent development initiatives.
  • Assist with benefits administration and manage employee leaves of absence.
  • Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Participate in HR projects and support continuous process improvement efforts.
  • Conduct employee investigations, prepare documentation, and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
  • Facilitate internal HR communications, including programs, announcements, and events.
  • Promote a positive workplace culture and drive employee engagement initiatives.
Required Education & Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree and three or more years of relevant experience, or an equivalent blend of education and professional experience.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws, HR best practices, and the ability to manage sensitive matters with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Demonstrated problemsolving and conflictresolution skills, strong analytical capabilities, and effective written and verbal communication.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; able to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment; capable of working independently with limited direction.
