Position Details: Medical Assistant - Full Time, 40 Hours per Week Mercy South Pulmonary & Sleep Medicine Clinic Qualifications Education: * High School Diploma or equivalent Certification(s): * MA Certification preferred but not required Preferred Experience: * 1 year of applicable patient care experience or applicable medical office experience as defined by clinic Job Duties: * Room patients, vital signs Assists with procedures, EKG * Instrument maintenance and prep * Stock exam rooms * Documentation, scanning * Point of care testing * Basic in basket and refills * Communicate with physician or APP * Follow protected information policy, follow OSHA standards * Adopt PPE and Quality/Safety Policies * Medication reconciliation, injection administration * Schedule appointments, medical record releases * Diagnostic and ancillary order entry Why Mercy?
