What this position entails IntelliScript's Information Technology has been a key part of our success and is critical to our future. The Scrum Master will lead cross-functional teams through the software development lifecycle, remove roadblocks to progress, and ensure agile principles and best practices are followed. What you will be doing
- Provide guidance on Agile practices, facilitating continuous improvement, and ensuring success delivery of projects aligned with organizational goals
- Track team capacity and velocity, collaborate through ART syncs, backlog refinement, PI planning, team stand ups, etc., within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
- Ensure team members understand project objectives, focusing on cross-functional accountability, teamwork, and iterative progress toward well-defined goals
- Provide coaching and thought leadership of Agile principles for the development team and product owners
- Consistently knowledge sharing on best practices and ways to improve product delivery across teams
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and activities for multiple teams in support of delivery across the organization
- Identify and mitigate any external dependencies, risks, and impediments
What we need
- 2-5+ years of demonstrated experience in a Scrum Master role
- Firm understanding of the software development lifecycle and scrum principles
- Experience with sprint planning, facilitating daily standups, leading scrum ceremonies, and backlog grooming
- Prior experience with Agile technologies, tools, and working on an Agile team
- Proven experience ensuring successful delivery of projects that are aligned with organizational goals
- Excellent communicator with a passion for problem solving, removing roadblocks, and managing issues as they arise
- Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management and ability to influence leaders at all levels through effective communication and conflict management
- Ability to actively listen and facilitate discussions to resolve conflicts and drive consensus
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks

Location The expected application deadline for this job is January 31, 2026. This position is open to remote work. Applicants must be willing to travel to the Milliman office in Brookfield, WI as needed and travel nationwide for meetings, conferences, and team events (up to 5%). Compensation The overall salary range for this role is $93,700 - $177,675. For candidates residing in: For candidates residing in:
- Alaska, California, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York City, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington, or the District of Columbia the salary range is $107,755 - $177,675
- All other locations the salary range is $93,700 - $154,500
