This position works as part of the PGA TOUR Pathways team to serve as a liaison and a support function across multiple business areas. The responsibilities include administrative support, project management, creation and implementation of departmental processes, department presentation development and research projects, to support key growth areas of PGA TOUR Pathways.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in a professional business environment, ideally within sports, entertainment, or event operations.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously, delivering accurate, high-quality work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to anticipate needs and proactively solve problems.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments, fostering strong relationships and effective communication in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with expertise in presentation design and formatting; experience with graphic design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) and cloud-based collaboration platforms preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to craft compelling presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills to evaluate processes, identify improvements, and implement innovative solutions.
- Strong interest in golf is preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
- Act as liaison across PGA TOUR Pathways business areas and properties to ensure seamless communication, operational alignment, and strategic collaboration.
- Implement departmental administrative workflows that enhance cross-team efficiency.
- Create executive-level presentations, incorporating advanced storytelling techniques, data visualization, and brand consistency to assist with leadership decisions.
- Coordinate Pathways initiatives and presentations by aligning timelines, managing dependencies, and facilitating stakeholder communication to deliver high-quality outcomes on schedule
- Support strategic growth efforts for Pathways properties by maintaining a catalogue of best practices from other sports leagues.
- Create a standardized travel and accommodation playbook for assigned events.
- Coordinate shipments from Global Home and manage tournament resource shipments
- Oversee tournament and sponsor logo distribution to ensure accuracy and brand compliance.
- Maintain and distribute internal and external TOUR/Tournament/Sponsor contact lists.
- Plan and execute department meetings, special events, and tournament-related programs (e.g., PLAYERS Championship Partner Program, Tournament Meetings, Global Home visits).
- Collaborate with Creative Studio to uphold brand standards and storytelling processes for player and sponsor presentations.
- Support departmental communications and fan feedback responses; ensure leadership plans and updates remain current and accessible.
- Provide executive administrative support for specified Pathways leadership team members, including scheduling, travel coordination, and expense reporting.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in presentation design, workflow optimization, and cross-department collaboration.
- Track KPIs for operational efficiency, presentation engagement, and event logistics; deliver monthly reports to leadership with actionable insights.
- Special projects and other duties as assigned.
