About the Role


We are seeking a Manager, Customer Development (NonCommercial) to join our team. As a Manager, Customer Development, you will drive growth across targeted NonCommercial national accounts by managing existing business, securing new opportunities, and leading crossfunctional collaboration to deliver outstanding customer results. This role plays a vital part in strengthening Aspire Bakeries' commercial footprint and achieving revenue and margin goals. This role requires you to be based near a major Eastern U.S. airport, with travel four days per week as needed for customer engagement.



Compensation



  • Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000



Core Accountabilities (What You'll Be Doing)



  • Lead strategic account management to achieve and exceed sales, profit, and growth targets
  • Manage existing business through P&L negotiations, contracts, RFPs, and supply chain oversight
  • Prospect and secure new customer opportunities and guide product development and commercialization
  • Develop annual business plans including menu strategies, promotional initiatives, and category opportunities
  • Oversee product forecasting accuracy and new item rollouts
  • Partner with crossfunctional teams to drive highimpact commercial initiatives
  • Represent Aspire Bakeries at customer meetings, tradeshows, and industry conferences



Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)



  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communication, culinary, or related field-or equivalent experience
  • 6-10 years of NonCommercial national account management experience with proven success
  • Strong customer relationship skills and the ability to grow assigned accounts
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Based near a major Eastern U.S. airport (no relocation available)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to travel 25%-50%



Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)



  • Success generating new business while growing existing customer portfolios
  • Experience increasing product placement through targeted initiatives
  • Broker management experience
  • Background in bakery, food manufacturing, or culinary environments
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced, evolving, and unstructured environment
