As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Chemical Facility in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a chemical or petrochemical location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. This is a driving post. You will interact with employees and visitors, deliver outstanding customer service, and respond to situations as they arise. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, respond to emergency situations at the chemical or petrochemical location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the overall operation of the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor for unusual activity or conditions and promptly report findings according to Allied Universal protocols.
  • Support access control measures by observing entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required by site policies.
  • Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal team members to provide information or direction as needed.
  • Document observations, incidents, and activities in a timely and accurate manner according to site and Allied Universal requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
