As a Security Officer - Tech Sector Patrol in Culver City, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a leading technology location, where you'll help to deter security-related incidents through regular patrols and a visible presence. Your role involves engaging with people, providing outstanding customer service, and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment within the technology and media location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activities within the location to help to deter prohibited actions and report irregularities.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or contractors, providing information and assistance as needed.
• Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and/or suspicious activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency responders when required, following established communication procedures.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay updated on security-related practices and protocols specific to the technology and media environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and/or first aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
