This position is currently eligible to work in a hybrid work environment with both onsite and remote work. Residency within the Kansas City-Overland Park-Kansas City, MO-KS Combined Statistical Area, which generally includes the Kansas counties of Johnson, Wyandotte, Leavenworth, Miami, and Linn, and the Missouri counties of Jackson, Clay, Platte, Cass, and Ray, is required. Job Description The Department of Technology & Innovation is currently searching for a Business Analyst on the Project Management Team. First review of candidates will begin on January 5, 2026. Responsibilities Include:
Maintains effective communication and good working relationships with employees at all levels of the County and customers outside the department in all key functional areas.
Job Requirements Associate's degree in the following fields(s) of study: Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field and four years business analyst, project management, system analyst or related experience are required. Bachelor's degree in the following field(s) of study: Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. Experience can substitute for education. Education can substitute for experience. Johnson County Government requires reference/background screening for all positions. Specified criteria may vary by Department/Agency.
