Summary:

The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for independently leading high-impact recruiting initiatives for mid- to senior-level professionals who will drive Sensiba's continued growth and long-term success. This role operates as a strategic partner and thought leader within the Talent Acquisition function, contributing directly to workforce strategy, hiring outcomes, and the Firm's ability to compete for top talent.

Serving as a subject matter expert on the Talent Acquisition team, this individual partners closely with the Talent Acquisition Manager to identify and implement recruiting best practices, market-informed strategies, and process improvements. The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist collaborates with business leaders and hiring managers as a trusted advisor by providing insight, guidance, and challenge where appropriate rather than functioning as a transactional service provider.

This role performs work of significant complexity with minimal supervision, exercises broad independent judgment, and may mentor less-experienced team members. The scope spans multiple Firm departments, including Audit, Tax, GRC, Consulting, Growth, and Operations functions.

This is a fully remote position, and only candidates located in the Pacific Time Zone will be considered for this position at this time.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the full lifecycle of experienced-hire recruitment, from workforce planning and sourcing through offer and onboarding, ensuring alignment with business priorities and long-term talent strategy.
  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition Manager to shape and evolve recruiting best practices, sourcing strategies, and hiring approaches based on market trends, firm growth plans, and performance data.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to hiring leaders, leveraging talent market expertise to influence role scoping, candidate evaluation, and hiring decisions rather than simply executing requisitions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Firm leadership, developing a deep understanding of business objectives and proactively providing insights on talent availability, risks, and opportunities.
  • Proactively source and engage high-quality talent beyond inbound applicants and referrals by leveraging creative, targeted, and data-informed sourcing strategies.
  • Present and advocate for best-fit candidates, guiding hiring managers through evaluation and selection while ensuring consistency and equity in decision-making.
  • Leverage the Firm's Talent Management System (Pinpoint) to manage recruiting workflows, candidate data, and onboarding processes efficiently and accurately.
  • Lead with data, using recruiting metrics and insights to tell a clear story, influence hiring decisions, and continuously improve hiring outcomes.
  • Conduct in-depth candidate pre-screens and interviews, assessing technical qualifications, cultural alignment, and long-term potential.
  • Coordinate and facilitate virtual and in-person interviews, ensuring a professional and consistent experience for candidates and interviewers.
  • Represent Sensiba as a talent ambassador across social media, networking events, and recruiting initiatives, reinforcing the Firm's values and employment brand.
  • Research and recommend target firms, universities, and professional networks to strengthen sourcing strategies and long-term talent pipelines.
  • Mentor and support less-experienced TA team members, modeling best practices and contributing to continuous improvement across the function.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and HR leadership to support long-term workforce and hiring strategies aligned with the Firm's vision, values, and growth goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • 4+ years of progressive Talent Acquisition or recruiting experience, with demonstrated ownership of full-cycle recruiting for mid- to senior-level roles.
  • Experience recruiting within professional services, public accounting, or consulting preferred.
  • Experience recruiting across multiple disciplines or functions (e.g., Audit, Tax, Consulting, GRC, Growth, or Operations roles) preferred.
  • Proven experience partnering with hiring managers and business leaders in a consultative, advisory capacity, not solely as a transactional recruiter.
  • Experience mentoring or coaching junior recruiters or coordinators preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, complex hiring initiatives simultaneously while exercising sound independent judgment.
  • Strong working knowledge of employment laws, compliance requirements, and ethical recruiting practices.
  • Experience conducting candidate pre-screens, interviews, and guiding selection decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage recruiting technology (ATS, sourcing tools, analytics) to drive hiring outcomes and process efficiency.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence, challenge, and align stakeholders at varying levels of the organization.
