What You'll Do:

  • Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel and visitors.
  • Provide customer service by assisting visitors and responding to inquiries in a professional manner.
  • Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies as directed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related risks, or incidents to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as needed, in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed security-related logs and reports as required by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security experience or possess a college degree.
  • Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
  • Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
