What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within the healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare environments.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter, helping to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible presence.
  • Assist with access control, verifying identification and/or credentials of individuals entering restricted areas as required by site policy.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related incidents, or hazards to the appropriate personnel or authorities.
  • Support emergency response activities, including assisting with evacuations and/or medical emergencies as directed by site procedures.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or observations in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Proof of vaccination is required for this hospital site.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
