As a Security Officer - Retail Front Desk in Lithonia, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal in a bustling retail distribution center, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and team members. Your role involves monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and providing exceptional customer service. By maintaining a visible presence and upholding our values of integrity and teamwork, you help to deter security-related incidents and contribute to a welcoming environment for all who enter the location.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering or exiting the location to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of security-related activities, incidents, and/or visitor logs as required by site procedures.
• Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and management to address questions and provide assistance as needed.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate, coordinating with Allied Universal management and local authorities if required.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
