Job Description




As a Security Officer - Government Unarmed Patrol Leader in Kissimmee, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a government location, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a strong and visible presence. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication, supporting a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report any observed irregularities.
  • Monitor for unusual activity and report security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Document all incidents, observations, and activities according to company and client policies.
  • Assist visitors, staff, and/or contractors by providing information and directions as required.
  • Support Allied Universal and client staff in maintaining a secure environment by being visible and approachable during patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
