As a Security Officer - Financial Front Desk in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional in a financial institution location, you will be the first point of contact, welcoming visitors and assisting with access control. You will remain attentive to help deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Greet visitors, employees, and/or clients in a professional manner at the front desk, providing exceptional customer service while following site-specific policies and procedures.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying identification and managing visitor logs to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents and/or critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Communicate with building personnel and/or management regarding security-related matters as needed.
• Assist with emergency response activities according to site procedures, including alerting appropriate personnel and providing information as required.
• Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter disruptive behavior and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
• Document incidents and/or unusual activities in detailed security-related reports as required by Allied Universal and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
