Position Summary

Work in the manufacturing area performing routine tasks such as labeling, stacking, packing, wiping, or assembling finished goods. Tasks will be assigned by the Production Supervisor based on production needs. All work must be completed safely and in alignment with our Target Zero safety goal.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate packaging machines and assist in establishing accurate operating procedures.
  • Perform necessary set-up operations following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Produce products according to the daily schedule and priorities set by the Production Supervisor.
  • Follow all packaging procedures, ensuring proper identification, labeling, and coding of packages.
  • Prevent contamination when changing batches by adhering to SOPs.
  • Keep machines clean, lubricated, and in good working order; inspect for worn or broken parts.
  • Notify the Production Supervisor and Maintenance Lead of any needed repairs.
  • Maintain knowledge of production resource numbers, label groups, and packaging materials.
  • Perform tasks assigned by the Production Supervisor as required.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts to cover vacations and business needs.
Required Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1+ year in a manufacturing role preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Organizational: Ability to take and follow directions.
    • Communication: Strong verbal and written skills.
    • Problem-Solving: Analytical and creative approach to challenges.
    • Technical: Ability to solve high school-level math problems and use basic hand tools.
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Lift 30-50 lbs multiple times daily.
    • Stand for up to 4 hours at a time.
    • Perform repetitive bending and stretching.
    • Proper use and maintenance of PPE; adherence to PPE policies.
    • Contact lenses are prohibited.

The expected compensation range for this position is between $42,800.00 and $71,400.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
