    • Identify and manager power delivery risks and mitigation of risks.
    • Identify and track AHJ transmission and distribution permitting requirements
    • Establish Power Delivery Budgets in coordination with Utility Providers.
    • Track utility infrastructure schedules and manage risks related to delivery delays or system constraints.
  • Utility Coordination
    • Act as the primary point of contact with utilities, transmission providers, and Independent System Operators/Regional Transmission Organizations regarding interconnection applications, studies, and agreements.
    • Engage with utilities and transmission operators to understand timelines, requirements, and opportunities for interconnection.
    • Lead utility data requests, initiate interconnection inquiries, and track development-stage milestones.
    • Coordinate planning and execution of substation build-outs, upgrades, or new transmission lines in partnership with utilities.
    • Track utility infrastructure schedules and manage risks related to delivery delays or system constraints.
  • Strategic Planning
    • Develop power delivery roadmaps to support development timelines and phased capacity growth.
    • Evaluate and recommend interconnection strategies (new substations, taps, load-serving solutions).
  • Technical & Regulatory Support
    • Monitor regional transmission planning, regulatory changes, and utility investment plans that may impact site viability.
  • Internal Collaboration
    • Work closely with internal teams (development, design, construction, legal) to align power planning with business goals and development milestones.
    • Translate technical power delivery information into executive-level summaries to support decision-making.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related technical field.
  • 10+ years of experience in transmission/distribution planning, interconnection, or utility coordination.
  • Strong understanding of utility infrastructure, substation design, and power delivery timelines.
  • Experience engaging with utilities and regulatory bodies on infrastructure development.
  • Experience supporting data center, industrial, or large infrastructure development.

You will really stand out if you:
