As a Security Officer - Patient Access Control in Walnut Creek, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor entrances, verify credentials, and conduct routine patrols throughout the facility. What You'll Do:

• Control access to the location by verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering the premises.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activities.
• Provide customer service by assisting patients, visitors, and staff with directions and information as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter, observing for security-related concerns.
• Document and report security-related incidents, unusual activities, and/or hazards according to site procedures.
• Support emergency response activities as required, including assisting with evacuations or lockdowns when appropriate.
• Follow all site-specific policies and procedures to maintain a secure environment for all occupants.

Minimum Requirements:

• Vaccines are required for this hospital position.
• Applicants must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
